Dr. Roy Lubkeman grew up in Hampton Iowa and graduated from Hampton Community High School in 1979. From there, he attended Dana College in Blair Nebraska for one year as a pre-chiropractic major. Then he went to Iowa State University to studying music and psychology. He graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology.

Becoming a Chiropractor

In July of 1994, he started at Palmer College of Chiropractic and was there until 1998, graduating with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. Several work experiences followed  in Clive, Clinton, and Hawarden, Iowa prior to moving to Ankeny. These positions have offered him a wide variety of experience in treating many different conditions and people of all ages. He also worked in a large, fast paced, multidoctor clinic and a very small rural clinic. Both experiences taught him the value of having great relationships with his patients.

“I love treating patients. My skill in diagnosis is one of my proud points. I don’t just accept a previous diagnosis, I dig into the cause of pain and get to the heart of the condition. I utilizes a number of techniques to help patients feel better fast and will do everything in my power to restore health. It does my heart good to see people get relief from pain without drugs or surgery”
